AUDIO/MEDIA
MINISTRY
This ministry captures all services
with sermons and singing on CD, DVD, Cassettes and VHS tapes for
your viewing and listening pleasure. These items can be purchased
immediately after each service in the Media Room located in the
balcony of the main sanctuary. (DVD’s and VHS tapes must be
pre-ordered). These are also extended to the Sick and Shut in
members, Foreign Missions, and U.S. Troops. Non-members may also
purchase these items by contacting the Church Office during
business hours Monday – Friday 9:00 am. - 4:00 pm.

MARRIAGE AND FAMILY ENRICHMENT
This is a 13-week class that is
designed to instruct, direct and counsel engaged and married
couples through the Word of God. To provide spiritual knowledge
and comprehension as it relates to marriage God’s way. Marriage
is not a game and the vows are not to be taken lightly and far too
often we see that they are. It is incumbent upon the church to
have a strong Marriage Ministry that exhibits, exemplifies and
teaches the Word of God’s intent is for a marriage and family to
be complete.

WOMEN'S
MINISTRY/MISSIONS
All women of the Household of Faith
are welcomed into this ministry. The purpose of the mission is to
provide an opportunity for evangelism
to all ages and support of
aiding the Pastor to spread the Good News. Our Missions are
structured into four adult levels and one young teen. Missions:
Intermediate Women

Senior Women
Junior Women
The PRBC Women’s Ministry serves to
link women to the ministry. Opportunities that will nurture
spiritual development and provide a venue for women to share their
spiritual gifts. It is our mission to minister to women and help
them realize the divine purpose for which they were created.
GOALS:

To
challenge women to model the Love of Jesus Christ through outreach
services.

To
empower women by helping them understand their divine purpose.

To
train women to become women after God’s heart.

To
help women to reconcile their spiritual gifts and to use those
gifts to glorify God.

To
encourage women to become mentors one to another in the Body of
Christ.

SINGLES MINISTRY
Living In Faith Everyday
(L.I.F.E.):
To be single, saved and satisfied is not the worse thing that
could happen to a person young or old. The Singles Ministry is
designed and delegated to wrap its arms around those that are
walking the Christian walk on this journey called life while
holding on to God’s unchanging hands. The Singles Ministry is a
very active organism within the church where members come together
for Bible instruction, socialization one with the other to include
members from other churches; to worship and praise knowing that
all though you might be single, you are not alone. This wonderful
body of members meets on a regular basis to plan activities and
develops creative avenues to attract more people to become
involved in the Ministry and carry out community service as
needed. There is no age limitation to
be part of this ministry,
therefore; we are always looking for a few
good singles.

PRISON/C.A.R.E.
MINISTRY
These ministries provide spiritual
guidance, mentorship, fellowship, counseling, evangelism and a
Christian rapport to men, women and families impacted by
incarceration. The Bible says in Matthew 25:36,
“I needed clothes
and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in
prison and you came to visit me.”

S.W.A.T. (SOUL WINNERS ACTION TEAM)
Soul Winners Action Team is an
outreach ministry designed for the soul purpose of evangelism and
winning the lost to Christ. For various reasons people are afraid
to come to church all though we know that they can worship God
where ever they may be. But that fear has to be overcome and
overshadowed with confidence and assurance that God cares and if
you will allow Him into your life, He will make a way for you.
Members of the church have to properly taught how to go out into
the wo4ld and win the souls of those without a savior and bring
them to Christ. The S.W.A.T. team has the ability to do just
that.

BROTHERHOOD
Hebrews 13:1 says, “Let Brotherly
love continue”
Where there are three or more
gathered in my name, there I will be also. The Brotherhood
Ministry is comprised of ALL men of the Pilgrim Rest
Baptist Church and no application is required. Once you become
a
member of this church you automatically become a member of the
Brotherhood. The purpose of this ministry is to come together in
a unified manner to study the word of God, share the word of God,
learn
to live by the word of God, and become strong leaders in all
aspects of life. The Brotherhood teaches men to govern their
lives by their quoted motto:
Teach the word in the home
With a consecrated heart
Following in the foot steps of
the Savior
Leading all men to God.

BOYS TO MEN MINISTRY
The Bible says, “Train up a child in
the way you have them go and they will not stray.” In today’s
society, it is of utmost importance that the men of the church and
any other aspect of the community stand up and help young boys to
become Christian, loving and productive men. The Boys to Men male
mentoring ministry is designed to lead by example and prepare
young boys to become successful in life outside of the church and
learn how to serve and honor God inside of the church without
shame or embarrassment.
