First Meeting
If You Really Want It, All You Have To Do Is Come and Get
It Marathon.
First of
all, I would like to thank my LORD Jesus Christ my savior,
for enlisting me as his servant/steward/soldier for Christ.
Mission
This first meeting
is an enlistment meeting calling on all men who have a
hunger and a thirst for Christ. Each man must know he is
committing himself to please the One (Jesus Christ) who
enlisted him as a soldier. He will no longer entangle
himself in the affairs of everyday life.
Proverbs 16:3
Key points/Commitment
from every man who shall serve
It will be every
soldier’s responsibility as a Christian soldier to provide
and supply and reach out to one another with love and the
necessary resources to strengthen their relationship in
their run with Christ. “NO” more walking. No man shall be
left behind that enlists.
Hunger
and Thirst is the key foundation and focus of Thirst for
Christ Marathon.
Jesus is
asking every soldier to go out and be inspired and empowered
to enlist men in their industry, profession, and family,
community to run with them and thirst for Christ, so that
there be no man left behind.

looking for from every soldier
Commitment, faith,
love, integrity, accountability, strength, compassion,
servants, stewards, humbleness, purpose driven,
availability, courage, passion, discipline, coach ability,
leader, provider.

Direction
on how to go out and battle for Christ; using their
God-given gifts to go out and serve; information, books,
tapes, CDs, literature; how to minister and enlist. But most
of all, how to love one another in Christ. Running-
not walking anymore.

How Jesus wants
this to work
Every soldier will fill out a touch-base form where he will
give contact information and will be made accountable
to enlist other men in their profession as soldiers to
attend the next Thirst for Christ marathon so that they will
be fed as well. So that they too can spread the seed.
Acts 6:7
At this
meeting we will break bread and fellowship. And exchange
information as it pertains to our spiritual growth.
